
Hunting
University is a program that will educate you as well as provide some
entertaining stories about hunting all over the United States and the rest of the
world. Hunting University was started seven years ago to aid both novice and experienced
hunters with the necessary knowledge needed for safe and successful hunts. The program
wishes to promote the sports of hunting and shooting and emphasize the safety requirements
associated with such sports.
Charles "Charlie" Ingram....
Nationally renowned outdoorsman Charlie Ingram, a hunter and fisherman for over
fifty years, is a four-time B.A.S.S. national champion and a sixteen-year veteran
of outdoor television. Charlie has hunted big game all over the United States, and
on his own hunting land in Tennessee and Kentucky.
Charlie lives with Susan, his wife of 30 years, outside Nashville. Their son Hunter
is an insurance agent and daughter Anna is a college junior.

David "Dirt" King...
"Dirt" King was raised near Reelfoot Lake and the Mississippi River in the
northwest corner of Tennessee, and spent several years as a singer and keyboard
player in several nationally known touring and recording bands.
"Dirt" grew from his early experiences as a hunting and fishing guide around Reelfoot
and Kentucky Lake to become manager and later president of a sporting-goods store,
and grew that business into "World Outdoor Resources," an international wholesaler
of sporting goods and supplies.
The company's domestic divisions, "The Shooting Shop," and "Midsouth Shooters Supply" are two of the country's leading
mail-order distributors of shooting equipment. "Dirt" is presently involved in the
development and manufacturing of long-range rifles and high-tech composite bullets
and ammunition. "Dirt" continues to work with a wide variety of hunting and fishing
manufacturers in the USA and other countries to develop new ideas, products and
technology; he is also involved in development of recreational hunting and fishing
acreage, and his most recent venture is a partnership with nationally-known outdoorsman
Charlie Ingram to produce "Hunting University" and other informative outdoor television
shows on Versus.
"Dirt" has been married to his wife, Connie, for 37 years. She is an avid hunter
and shooter and who lends a hand in running the family business. Their daughter
Cammie is also involved, as the comptroller for "Dirt's" many business ventures.
His other daughter, Christy Lee, is a pharmacist, and his brother Terry is an electrical
technician.
